Birth Preparedness and Use of Misoprostol Training
In this video, I delve into a revision session of refresher training regarding 'Birth preparedness and Use of Misoprostol' I conducted for Female Community Health Volunteers at Arman Health post of Mangala Rural Municipality, Myagdi. I had facilitated this training during my internship at One Heart Worldwide in my final year of undergrad degree. I have always been passionate about sharing knowledge and empowering these dedicated volunteers to bring positive health impacts to their communities. In this session, I cover essential topics such as postpartum hemorrhage, antenatal care, birth preparedness, safe motherhood program incentives and use of misoprostol. I believe that informed and trained volunteers play a pivotal role in improving community health outcomes.
Interactive Group Activity - Maternal Health Song
In the middle of training session, this was a fun group activity assigned to Female Community Health Volunteers of Rampur Health Post, Annapurna RM, Myagdi. These volunteers prepared a song related to Maternal and Neonatal health based on the training content in their own local language and tone. The participants were very interactive, friendly, and fun. I felt glad to have facilitated this training session.
